Description

On day one, redeem your train e-ticket for the 7:57 AM departure from Athens railway station to Kalambaka. Embark on a scenic train ride through the Greek countryside, without a guide, and admire the beautiful landscapes. At 12:03 PM arrive at Kalambaka train station, where your guide will be waiting for you, holding a signboard with your name and will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel for the Meteora tour, which will provide you with an absolutely amazing experience. Then you will have free time to explore the area. The next morning at 9:00 AM you will be picked up from your hotel to go on your selected tour. During this tour, admire how simply the hermits settled in the caves of the rocks a thousand years earlier and learn about the history, the myths and the secrets of Meteora that only your local guides knows. At 6:00 PM the minibus will transfer you back to Kalambaka train station for your trip back to Athens. The train departs at 6:22 PM and arrives in Athens at 10:26 PM.
