Get an early start from Athens on a train departing at 7:20 a.m. from Kalambaka, a town located nearby the Meteora. Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Greek countryside before arriving at 11:30 a.m. at Kalambaka's train station where you will find our guide holding a signboard with your name. Board a comfortable limo minibus to tour around the Meteora site. See all six remaining monasteries perched precariously atop natural rock pillars and giant boulders. Venture inside one or two of them and let your guide tell you about the history and myths surrounding an ancient site where monks lived in almost complete isolation for centuries. After your tour, the bus will transfer you back to Kalambaka train station where your train back to Athens departs at 5:15 pm.Includes
