Born in Istanbul in 1959, Stelios Parliaros studied art and pastry making in France and since, has written many books.

Parliaros collaborates with various establishments such as the Greek newspaper 'Kathimerini' and the Greek Magazine 'Gastronomos' and also teaches the secrets of pastry making in his seminars and his annual magazine 'Lessons of Sweet Alchemy'.

Since 2008 the 'wizard' pâtissier has become the host of the weekly Greek TV show 'Sweet Alchemies', on Mega channel which has quickly grown into a huge success. The internationally renowned pastry chef is well regarded for his exceptional and innovative desserts. With the help of his five assistants, he reveals to the audience the secrets of his wonderful recipes.

Stelios Parliaros' lessons include a series of recipes, the trials and tribulations that may occur in each and all the details of the ingredients. Through his lessons Parliaros hopes, with the correct technique, audiences of all culinary backgrounds and talents will be able to successfully create each recipe themselves.
