Description
Your first stop is at the Acropolis of Athens. The city’s rich history is documented on every step of the Acropolis of Athens, on every piece of marble gracing the Parthenon. You will have some time to explore the Acropolis Museum.
Then, head to the Hellenic Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Take a quick stop for a photo before continuing on to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, a former colossal temple at the center of Athens. You will also stop at the Panathenaic Stadium and then Mount Lycabettus, to take a look at the city from above.
You will then set off for the Archaeological Site of Sounion. Visit the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio - an example of classical architecture of the 5th Century B.C. Upon your return to the city of Athens, you will stop at an idyllic place: Vouliagmeni Lake, in the heart of the Athenian Riviera.

Your professional English-speaking driver is not a licensed tour guide, but has extensive knowledge of Greek history, culture, and landmarks and will provide informative commentary throughout the tour.
Drivers cannot accompany guests inside archaeological sites or museums, but they will provide useful information and answer questions before each visit.
Licensed tour guide services are available upon request at an additional cost and are subject to availability.
During the summer months, we recommend light-colored clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Entrance tickets are not included in the tour price. We can assist with arranging all entrance tickets upon request after booking. Guests may also purchase tickets independently.
