Description
Walk through the heart of Athens from the shadow of the Acropolis to the colourful streets of Psyrri, and discover how the city’s creative spirit has transformed over 2,500 years. Starting in Monastiraki, with panoramic views of the Parthenon.
The journey begins in Psyrri, the city’s urban art heart, where world-renowned street artists like WD (Wild Drawing), Sonke, and INO have turned walls into open-air galleries. You’ll explore alleys filled with murals, poetic stencils, and community projects, a symbol of rebirth and creativity after the crisis years.
Along the way, your guide connects myth and modernity, revealing how Athena’s owl, Hermes’ wings, and Hephaestus’ fire still echo through today’s street art.
We end near Gazi, passing Keramikos, one of Athens’ hidden gems and most important archeological sites.
This is not just a walk through the city--it’s a dialogue between gods and graffiti, marble and spray paint, past and present.
Please note that this is a non-private tour, and you should expect a multilingual group.
We have private options if you want only in your preferred language.
