During this street food tour you will taste a variety of snacks/street food like the famous Koulouri, a favorite Greek bread sesame ring. You will then sample a traditional Greek pie with crispy filo pastry while exploring the Central food market area (closed on weekdays/Saturdays at evening hours and Sundays) where local sellers offer the best Greek ingredients and Athenians do their daily shopping.
You will also savor Souvlaki or Gyros in pita bread, the quintessential Greek street food and you will find out what the famous Peinirli looks and tastes like. A delicious, fluffy Greek style pizza boat with a special cheese mix and crispy dough!
Got a sweet tooth? Time to treat yourself to some Greek dessert! Try loukoumades—Greece’s answer to donuts—crispy and golden on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside.
