Description
Escape the city and discover one of Greece’s best-kept secrets on an unforgettable full-day journey to Lichadonisia, a breathtaking cluster of volcanic islets often described as the “Greek Seychelles.” With crystal-clear turquoise waters, golden sandy beaches, rich marine life, and a relaxed island atmosphere, this is the perfect summer escape from Athens.
Your adventure begins at Athens Larissis Station, where check-in starts at 7:45 AM before departure at 8:00 AM aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic journey through central Greece towards the beautiful seaside village of Kamena Vourla.
The coach will arrive in Kamena Vourla shortly after 10:00 AM. From the coach drop-off point, there is an approximately 10-minute walk to the marina, where you will board the local boat. Please proceed directly to the marina, as the boat is scheduled to depart by 10:45 AM.
The boat journey to Lichadonisia takes approximately 30 minutes, offering beautiful views across the North Euboean Gulf as you approach this unique volcanic island complex.
Upon arrival, enjoy one of Greece’s most beautiful natural beach settings. Swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on the golden sand, snorkel along the coastline, explore the volcanic landscape, or simply unwind beneath the Greek sun.
Complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas are provided at the beach for your comfort.
Nature lovers may be fortunate enough to spot Mediterranean monk seals, which occasionally visit the area. Underwater enthusiasts may also discover the remains of a World War II shipwreck visible beneath the clear waters.
The return boat time depends on the option selected:
Guests who have booked the Thermal Spa Option will depart from Lichadonisia at approximately 3:00 PM.
Guests who have booked the option without the spa will depart from Lichadonisia at approximately 6:00 PM.
Guests selecting the Thermal Spa Option will enjoy a 20-minute hydrotherapy session in the thermal spa pool of the luxurious Galini Mitsis Resort. The naturally warm, mineral-rich waters provide a relaxing and rejuvenating way to complete the experience.
After returning to Kamena Vourla, you will have free time to explore the seaside village, browse local shops, enjoy a drink by the marina, or have dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants.
Please note that Restaurant Camino, the meeting point for the return journey to Athens, is approximately a 25-minute walk from the marina. Allow sufficient time for the walk and arrive at the meeting point a few minutes before departure.
The coach will depart from outside Restaurant Camino at exactly 8:00 PM. The estimated arrival time in Athens is 10:30 PM, at the same location at Larissis Station where the tour began.

- This experience includes transportation, boat transfers, and free time. Parts of the day are self-guided, and there is no guide accompanying guests throughout the entire experience.

Expect 10 minutes of walking from the bus stop to the marina and 25 minutes of walking from the marina to Camino Restaurant. Local taxis may be available at an additional cost.
Guests can depart from Lichadonisia at either 3:00 PM or 6:00 PM, depending on the option booked.
Please bring a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, water, snacks, dry clothes, and comfortable footwear.
The coach departs for Athens from outside Camino Restaurant at 8:00 PM. Please arrive at the meeting point a few minutes earlier.
The experience is dependent on weather and sea conditions. In case of cancellation, guests will be offered available alternatives or a refund.
