Description
During the first part of this wine and cultural tour, you can admire the monumental portal of this beautiful tower, which resembles a castle with its ramparts and smaller side towers in gradual forming. Once inside the tower, you will be amazed by the blue ambiance of the walls, ceiling, and golden geometrical decoration. The romantic decorative elements will be sure to take you back in time. Discover the floor, with various kinds of wood according to the Munich School style, the golden, blue, and red ornamentation, the small furniture, and the lighting devices of Gothic style. Following your guided tour, you can explore the surroundings which include a green oasis with palm trees which dominate the scenery, statues in romantic style, sarcophagi, and a fountain. You will then be invited to explore 18 hectares of the gardens of the estate, full of olive, pistachio, mulberries, cypress, and pine trees, and various herbs that you can find inside the shop too. You can meet some of the most beautiful horses when you visit the stables, before visiting the winery and organic vineyard, located in the same place where the original vineyard was in the 19th century. For the second half of your tour, indulge in a tasting of local wines accompanied by Greek pies and cheeses. You can learn the secrets of wine, and how this winery produces some of the finest wines, aromatic and nervous, ideal for drinking in a short time. The wines of the estate were advertised in Europe by the French firm of hotels called 'The Great Hotels of Paris', which was the exclusive buyer of the wines of the estate. Throughout 1937, the wines of the estate were being sold outside of Greece to Egypt, the United States, and India.Includes
