After pickup from your hotel or accommodation, travel comfortably in a private vehicle with your English-speaking driver. Enjoy a relaxed evening journey through Athens, with general information and commentary about the city and its landmarks along the way.
Start with some of Athens’ most iconic sights, including the Panathenaic Stadium, the historic setting of the first modern Olympic Games, followed by views of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch.
Continue toward Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament, where you can see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the famous Evzones guarding the Parliament building. Drive past the impressive Athenian Trilogy — the Academy of Athens, the University and the National Library — which take on an entirely different character under the evening lights.
Then head toward Lycabettus Hill, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Athens. From above the city, admire the lights stretching toward the sea and enjoy spectacular nighttime views of the illuminated Acropolis and Parthenon dominating the Athens skyline.
Leave the busy center behind and continue toward the Athenian Riviera and Mikrolimano, a picturesque marina filled with yachts, waterfront restaurants and reflections of the city lights on the sea. This atmospheric seaside stop offers a completely different contrast to ancient Athens.
Continue to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, one of the most impressive modern landmarks in the city. Admire its contemporary architecture and beautifully designed illuminated surroundings, combining modern Athens with views toward the coast.
Throughout the experience, there will be opportunities for photo stops at selected locations, while the private format allows for a comfortable and relaxed pace. Complimentary cold bottled water is provided during the tour.
For guests who would like a deeper historical and archaeological experience, a licensed tour guide can also be arranged upon request for an additional fee. The licensed guide can accompany you throughout the tour and provide more detailed historical and cultural commentary.
