We’ll kick things off by exploring why pies (pitas) are a cornerstone of Greek gastronomy. You’ll bite into perfectly crispy, golden phyllo dough and discover the rich, savory fillings that locals grab on the go every day
2.Enjoy the famous Greek mezze culture +Olive Oil Tasting 30 mins
We will start by tasting extra virgin olive oil and then we will slow down and enjoy the original Greek meze culture. We’ll pair crispy, flavor-packed courgette fritters (kolokithokeftedes) and sardines marinated (a Greek delicacy) paired with the iconic anise-flavored Ouzo ! Then we will savor authentic aged cheese and spicy pastourma (air dried cured meat) beautifully matched with a shot of traditional Tsipouro! Yamas! (Cheers!)
3.Dive into Varvakios Central Meat Market 15mins
We will step into the loud, vibrant Meat Market and we will taste the most juicy lamb patty of Athens!!
4.Navigate the Varvakios Central Fish Market 15 mins
We'll navigate the bustling, energetic fish market and treat ourselves to incredibly fresh Greek oysters right there on the spot.
5.Olives Tasting 15 mins
Greek olives are celebrated worldwide for their intense flavor and diverse profiles. Taste 7 + different types of Greek olives-each one offering a unique culinary experience.
