Description
Step into the world of Greek coffee and discover a ritual that is as much about people as it is about the drink itself. In this interactive experience, you’ll explore the history, preparation, and hidden meanings behind one of Greece’s most beloved traditions.
We’ll start with a short journey through time—how Greek coffee traveled across cultures and became a daily habit, a reason to gather, and sometimes… an excuse to sit a little longer and talk.
Then it’s your turn. You’ll learn how to prepare Greek coffee from scratch using traditional tools and techniques. From the right grind to the perfect foam, you’ll be guided step by step as you brew your own cup. It’s simple, but there’s a bit of art (and a bit of patience) involved.
Once we’ve made and enjoyed our coffee, things take a more curious turn.
You’ll be introduced to the tradition of coffee cup reading—a practice that has been part of social life for generations. After finishing your coffee, we’ll look at the patterns left behind in the cup and explore how people have turned shapes into stories, symbols into meaning, and moments into shared laughter.
Is it intuition? Is it imagination? Is it just a great way to connect? We’ll leave that open for you to decide.
What matters is the experience: observing, interpreting, and sharing perspectives in a relaxed and friendly environment. No special skills (or beliefs) are needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play along.
Throughout the session, we’ll also touch on how symbols and mysticism have appeared across different times and cultures, and how humans naturally look for meaning in patterns.
Whether you’re here for the coffee, the stories, or the experience of something a little different, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, engaging, and memorable.
And of course, you won’t leave empty-handed—participants will receive a small gift to take a piece of the experience with them.
