Discover the basics of the Greek language with a fast-track course designed for beginners. In this fun and interactive session, learn how to read and write Greek, plus essential words, useful everyday phrases, the Greek alphabet, and some popular Greek songs.
Begin with 16 Greek words that have traveled in most European languages, selected by their having almost the same pronunciation as their Greek origins. By the end of the lessons, you'll be able to read titles of newspapers, addresses, menus, names of products in a shop, plus greet people, introduce yourself, and use practical Greek in real-life situations.
Set in a beautiful neoclassical building in the heart of Athens, this immersive course offers the perfect environment to discover the Greek language and culture. The venue is just a 2-minute walk from the Metro station and directly across from the stunning “Pedion tou Areos” (Champs de Mars), one of the city's most beautiful urban parks.
During the lessons, you will be introduced to the basics of the Greek language in a relaxed and engaging way. Important Information
- The experience is suitable for beginners and no previous knowledge of Greek is required.
Participants should be at least 13 years old.
Children aged 5 to 12 may participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The lessons last approximately 5 hours.
The lessons are conducted in English.
The activity takes place in a beautiful neoclassical building in central Athens, just a 2-minute walk from the Victoria Metro Station and directly across from 'Pedion tou Areos' park.
The lessons are suitable for solo travellers, couples, families, and groups of friends.
If the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the activity may be cancelled. In this case, participants will receive a full refund.
