Visit the Acropolis, which still stands as a reminder of the beauty and glory of ancient Athens. High atop its rocky base are the Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion, with its stunning Porch of Maidens. Drive to the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathinaikon Stadium. This stadium was site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, birthplace of a world-wide tradition. Continue driving and pass by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. Here you’ll experience views of government buildings and elegant structures of the 19th century. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library. If you select the option with with visit of Acropolis museum the tour will be extented to 5 hours tours.
