Welcome to our cozy kitchen in the heart of Athens! What started as a humble adventure in our seaside home has grown into a thriving culinary experience loved by locals and travelers alike. After welcoming thousands of guests into our kitchen, we took a leap of faith—leaving our jobs and bringing our cooking experience to the city center. Here, in a space lovingly designed to mirror our own home kitchen, we’re excited to share the joy of Greek cooking with you. This hands-on experience is all about creating Greece’s most iconic street food: pita gyros. No shortcuts, no pre-made ingredients—just you, me, and fresh ingredients to craft every component from scratch. Together, we’ll prepare the dough for soft, pillowy pita bread, and I’ll show you the secrets to seasoning and cooking gyros five different ways, so you can make this beloved dish your own. For dessert, indulge in one of my favorite Greek sweets: either Patsabouropita or a delightful Greek-style cheesecake—perfect treats to end a hearty meal. After all the cooking, it’s time to relax, sit down, and savor everything we’ve prepared together. As we enjoy each dish, I’ll share stories of Greek traditions, culinary secrets, and my personal recommendations to help you experience Athens to its fullest.
