Day 1: Catch the morning bus to Kalambaka at 08:00 am from Athens 'Larissis' Railway Station. Upon your arrival in Kalambaka, at around 12:45 am, our English speaking driver will be waiting for you at the train station holding a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel, or start the mid-day tour, depending on your choice. Admire breathtaking views of Meteora and discover the hidden gems of this place in one of the best tours of Mainland Greece. Day 2: At 9:00 AM, meet your express shuttle transfer driver at the designated location (your driver will inform you where). Travel by car or bus towards Delphi, which will take approximately 3 hours.Enroute to Delphi, make a stop at the legendary battlefield of Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans stood against the Persian army. Explore and learn about this historic site, adding a touch of ancient heroism to your journey. Upon arriving in Delphi, your driver will show you the bus station where you can safely leave your luggage. Start your exploration of Delphi by visiting the Delphi Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient artifacts and sculptures, including the famous Charioteer of Delphi. After the museum, take a short walk to the Delphi archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the ancient ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury, and the Theater of Delphi. At 4:00 PM, catch your bus from Delphi to Athens, which will take about 3 hours. Arrive in Athens at around 7:00 PM, marking the end of your tour from Meteora to Delphi.

  • This tour is usually done by train. However, recent flooding in Greece has temporarily disrupted train services. Replacement buses are in place to ensure uninterrupted travel until train services are restored. The itineraries and stops of this tour remain unaffected • Reaching the top of the monasteries involves climbing steps. There are no elevators available, so please consider this if you have any mobility concerns
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
