Description

The tour starts from a central point in Athens (or from your hotel upon agreement) where the bus will pick you up along with the licensed tour guide who will accompany you and explain the historical events of the tour (optional). The tour begins by having the panoramic tour of the historical center of Athens on the bus, meeting tourist attractions such as the Parliament of the Hellenes, the National Garden, the so-called 'Trilogy of Athens', the gate of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, the Zappeian Palace, the temple of Olympian Zeus and other important points for the progress of the tour. Of course, the tour could not skip a visit to the Panathenaic stadium, which is all built of marble and is the place that the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. Then, after taking the necessary photos of the most notable monuments, a visit to the archaeological area of the Acropolis takes place, with the Parthenon among others, stealing the show on your visit. The archaeological site of the Acropolis has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and you are given the opportunity to visit it with this half-day excursion. At the end of your visit the tour ends returning to the starting point.
