Gostijo
Athens
Gostijo is the one and only Kosher restaurant in Athens, offering a journey through the Mediterranean flavours of the Sefardi Jews. Gostijo in ladino means 'sharing food', and this is its goal: share the traditional Sefardi recipes and its rich and ancient culture. A Kosher mini-market works on the premises.
The restaurant's Sephardic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Kosher specialties include: eggs haminados, leek fritters, meat balls with three sauces, Moroccan potato salad, sambousak pies and, of course, our legendary falafel.
There is always something going on at Gostijo: a musical evening, a seminar, a cooking class, a children's event.
Listen to Greek or Ladino music as you dine. Enjoy a perfect accompaniment to delicious Sephardic cuisine.
