Naxos

Specialising in local food from the island of Naxos, this ouzerie is a famous hangout in the Psyrri region. Attracting tourists and locals alike, Naxos dishes up decent food and reasonable prices in a traditional Greek atmosphere. It has managed to keep authentic Greek style popular amongst a wave of contemporary bars and restaurants in the area. Naxos serves up mezedopoleio, a sort of Greek-style tapas, where dishes come in small portions and can be shared out amongst friends, as opposed to served in the starter, main and dessert style of a typical restaurant. This style allows you to try an extensive range of Greek cuisine, accompanied by an extensive wine list to wash it down.

The restaurant is particularly busy during the winter months, where Naxian specialities of fresh fish and meat can be enjoyed. The summer months are just as busy, however more tables are set up outside to allow customers to enjoy the Greek weather.
