The Garden of Zappeion is a recent extension of the magnificent National Gardens and occupies 83 acres of green areas, patios and courtyards. The Garden forms a true oasis in the bustling capital centre and is bejeweled by the remarkable Zappeion mansion.
Zappeion Garden was set up in 1857 with the planting of plane and eucalyptus trees.
