Description

Hop on board an air-conditioned vehicle and depart for Delphi Archaeological Site. Find yourself being immersed in the myths and monuments of Ancient Greece as you drive through Boeotia, hearing tales about King Oedipus, God Apollo, and more. The main stop of the tour is the Delphi Archaeological Site. Upon arrival, marvel at some of the most important and unique archaeological monuments, such as the Athenian Stoa, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Polygonal Wall, and the Temple of Apollo. Visit the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, which hosts globally known artifacts like the Naxian Sphinx, the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the bronze Charioteer of Delphi, and the statue of Antinoos. Make a final stop in the village of Arachova. Here, get time for lunch in one of the many traditional restaurants of the village (costs not included). Take a walk around the villages' narrow alleys, where you can admire hand-woven carpets and buy local delicacies such as Formaela cheese. In the late afternoon, get back on the vehicle and return to Athens.
